Burna Boy, Shakira’s ‘Dai Dai’ tops global chart for fifth week

“Dai Dai,” the official song for the 2026 FIFA World Cup by Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, and Shakira, has held the top spot on the Billboard Global 200 chart for five weeks. The song also topped the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for eight weeks.

Billboard shared on its X handle on Tuesday that the song remains the biggest in the world. This is nearly a month after the tournament ended on July 19. Spain won the final against Argentina, 1-0, after extra time.

According to data from Luminate, “Dai Dai” had 44.1 million streams and 6,000 sales worldwide from August 7 to August 13. The song first reached the top of the Global 200 chart in mid-July.

Luminate reported, “Dai Dai drew 44.1 million streams (down 10% week over week) and sold 6,000 (down 9%) worldwide from August 7 to 13.”

The song continues to lead the Global Excl. U.S. chart, where it first reached number one at the start of July. It had 37.8 million streams (down 10%) and 4,000 sales (down 8%) outside the U.S.

In the U.S., Billboard noted that the song is still gaining popularity across radio. It rose to No. 3 as the Greatest Gainer on Rhythmic Airplay. It also topped the Latin Airplay chart for a week in late July.
