ESDIAC Global Systems Limited, a Nigerian tech company, has announced that it has received a licence to work in Nigeria's data market. This will help the company grow its telecommunications and digital communication services.
The news came from a statement released in Lagos on Friday by its founder and CEO, Austin Ugbebor.
Ugbebor said this licence will allow ESDIAC to offer cross-border data solutions, international connectivity, data top-ups, and global eSIM services to Nigerian customers and businesses.
He mentioned that the goal is to make international communication cheaper and easier for Nigerians both at home and abroad.
Ugbebor praised President Bola Tinubu and the Federal Government for their efforts to encourage competition and growth in Nigeria's digital economy.
He explained that the company plans to use the licence to grow its operations, invest in local infrastructure, build talent, and provide affordable communication services to communities that lack them.
ESDIAC operates in over 150 countries and 400 cities around the world, providing international calling services, global eSIMs, and cross-border data solutions.
Ugbebor reaffirmed the company’s promise to support Nigeria’s digital transformation agenda through innovation, investment, and connecting everyone.
