Organisers of Big Brother Naija have raised excitement for the 11th season after posting a teaser on social media on Sunday. This has led fans to ask for an official date when the show will start.
In the update shared on the show’s social media pages, the organisers said: “A new chapter begins, and this time, everything is for the taking. #BBNaija season 11 is coming soon.”
The announcement got a lot of reactions on X and Instagram. Many fans showed their excitement and urged the organisers to tell them when the new season would kick off.
On X, user #OginniAdekemi wrote, “Don’t starve us…. give us date.”
Another user, #PreciousPelt0a, said, “I can’t wait to hear ur voice again biggie.” Some fans questioned why the premiere date was not revealed yet, while others asked the organisers to make sure the new season is just as good or better than the last one.

Some viewers also suggested new ideas for the show. User #iam_dura called for a “Movie Night” segment, similar to what Love Island does, where contestants watch unseen footage that can lead to drama.

This teaser comes after BBNaija Season 10 ended, where housemate Imisi Ayanwale won the ₦80 million grand prize and an Innoson SUV.
The show has also been in the news after the Season 10 reunion, which started on June 8. This reunion brought back all 29 former housemates to discuss the controversies from the season.
As we look forward to Season 11, the organisers have finished auditions. They opened the application portal in May and held physical auditions in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu. This shows that they are already well-prepared for the new season.
