FIFA has introduced the Trionda Final as the Official Match Ball for the semi-finals, bronze medal match, and final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The football governing body made the announcement in a statement on its website on Tuesday.
This ball will be used in the tournament's last four matches, ending with the final set for July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium, USA.
FIFA stated that the TRIONDA FINAL keeps the performance-driven design of the original TRIONDA ball launched in October 2025 but comes with a fresh premium look in gold, white, and black.
The design of the ball reflects the journey to football's top prize. The gold finish represents the FIFA World Cup trophy, while the black base gives it a unique identity for the tournament's final stages.
The design also honors all 16 host cities of the expanded 2026 World Cup.
Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, and New York New Jersey, which will host the semi-finals, bronze medal match, and final, are highlighted in the design. Other cities like Boston, Guadalajara, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Monterrey, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Toronto, and Vancouver are included in its triangular graphic elements.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino mentioned that the new ball shows the importance of the tournament's final matches.
"The TRIONDA FINAL ball for the last four matches of the FIFA World Cup is here," Infantino said.
"The iconic TRIONDA has brought so much joy every time it has hit the back of the net in this FIFA World Cup. It perfectly embodies the unity and passion of the tournament's host nations Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
"For the final four matches of the tournament, this TRIONDA FINAL will be at the feet of the best players on the planet. Through every touch, dribble, flick, pass, cross, save, strike, and goal, the 16 cities that have helped FIFA stage the record-breaking 23rd edition of the tournament will be further etched into FIFA World Cup folklore," he said.
FIFA also noted that the ball includes the latest version of adidas Connected Ball Technology. This technology gives real-time ball data to help match officials make quicker decisions and improve match analysis.
The World Cup semi-finals kick off on July 14, while the bronze medal match and final will wrap up the tournament on July 19.
