How EPL Clubs Finished Pre-Season Matches

Premier League clubs have wrapped up their summer friendlies ahead of the 2026/27 season. Some teams finished strong, while others faced losses in their last games.

Brentford made a big impression, hammering Eintracht Frankfurt 7-0. Bournemouth, Chelsea, Brighton, Fulham, and Ipswich Town also ended their pre-season with wins.

Arsenal defeated Manchester City 3-0 in the Community Shield. Meanwhile, Manchester United lost 4-2 to AC Milan, and Aston Villa went down 2-1 against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Liverpool played a goalless draw with Como in one of their last pre-season matches. Tottenham won 3-0 against Hoffenheim, but their next match with the same team ended in a 2-2 draw.

The new Premier League season kicks off on Friday, August 21, with champions Arsenal taking on newly promoted Coventry City.
