The Chairperson of the Local Organising Committee for the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 Presidential Campaign, Dr Hadiza Balarabe, has announced that Kaduna is ready to host President Bola Tinubu on Saturday.

Dr Balarabe shared this with journalists after inspecting the Kaduna Township Stadium, where the event will take place. This inspection happened on Wednesday evening.

"I’m comfortable with what has been done so far; we have the holding area, the conveniences are ready, the pavilions are ready. What remains is the markings for the different states," she said.

The Deputy Governor explained that the LOC has discussed security measures thoroughly. They consulted experienced security professionals from both state and federal levels.

Dr Balarabe added that everyone will be screened before entering the stadium. She assured attendees that their safety is a priority.

The LOC expects a large crowd of party members and supporters from all over the country since the North West is an APC stronghold.

The Commissioner for Information and Culture, Ahmed Maiyaki, also spoke about the preparations. He mentioned that mobilization efforts are still ongoing and that hotels and service apartments in Kaduna are fully booked.

Maiyaki expressed that Kaduna State feels privileged to host the kick-off of the Presidential Campaign. He noted that citizens are eagerly waiting to welcome President Tinubu.

He emphasized that this rally is a chance for the people of Kaduna to show their support for the president and the APC.

According to him, in the past three and a half years, Kaduna has benefited from the APC-led government through various projects and appointments of its citizens to federal positions.

He pointed out some of these benefits, including the conversion of the Federal College of Education Zaria into a university, the recent upgrade of Kaduna Polytechnic to a Federal University of Technology, and the 122km Mando-Birnin Gwari road. He also mentioned the proposed Kaduna Light Rail Project.
