List of Nominees for 2026 FIFPRO World XI Revealed

The full list of nominees for the men’s and women’s FIFPRO World XI is out.

FIFPRO shared the list in a tweet on Monday.

The men’s list includes big names like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Rodrigo Hernández (Rodri), along with the recently honored Harry Kane.

The women’s list also has 26 players, featuring two three-time Ballon d'Or winners: Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmatí, plus another 2018 winner, Ada Hegerberg.

The FIFPRO World XI is special because professional players vote for it. They choose the team based on how their fellow players performed.

There are 26 players listed in both categories. These players will form the World XI, including goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and attackers.

The men’s shortlist was put together by 19,806 professional men’s footballers around the globe. The women’s list was voted on by 6,511 professional women’s footballers worldwide.
