Mbappé may leave Madrid if his needs are not met - Report

French journalist Daniel Riolo has hinted at a big exit that many did not expect so soon.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X on Friday, Riolo spoke on RMC Sport’s After Foot and later on Cadena SER’s El Larguero. He is known to be close to the Mbappé family and shared a clear view on the French star’s situation at Real Madrid.

Riolo said, “If he does not have the team he wants, it’s possible that he will leave. I think it’s possible. I don’t think he’s happy with everything that’s happening at Real Madrid this season.”

His comments, which Riolo described as a feeling rather than solid news, have caused a stir in both Spanish and French media.

Mbappé still has two years left on his contract after this season, which runs until June 2029.

If he were to leave in the summer of 2027, it would need either a mutual agreement or a big transfer.
