MTN Nigeria Communications Plc has announced that Eyitope Kola-Oyeneyin, an Independent Non-Executive Director, will be leaving its board.
MTN Nigeria shared this news in a statement on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), signed by Uto Ukpanah, the company's secretary, on Friday.
The company said Mrs Kola-Oyeneyin will officially leave the board on 31 August. MTN did not give any reason for her departure in the regulatory notice.
She joined the board in December 2024.
MTN praised Mrs Kola-Oyeneyin for her work on the board and wished her success in her future plans. "The Board extends its appreciation to Mrs. Kola-Oyeneyin for her invaluable service and wishes her the best in her future endeavours," the company stated.

She is the Managing Partner of Augmentum Advisory. There, she advises senior leaders on growth and value creation through digital changes, policy innovation, and large projects.
The outgoing director also has a strong background in digital financial services. She knows a lot about the financial services sector in Sub-Saharan Africa.
