Remi Tinubu Leads Governors to Ogun for Community Food Bank Launch

Governors from different states, their wives, and other important guests will gather in Ogun State on Tuesday. They are coming for the launch of the National Community Food Bank Programme. This event will include giving out food items to vulnerable people in Ogun State.

The program will take place in Makun, Sagamu. It is expected to bring together key players from around the country. This is part of efforts to boost the Federal Government’s social support programs and help needy families.

Nigeria's First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, will lead the food distribution and other activities planned for the day.

According to a statement from Kayode Akinmade, the Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor on Information and Strategy, Mrs Tinubu will also open the 108-unit Muhammadu Buhari Estate in Kobape, Abeokuta.

She will also inaugurate the Gateway Medical Centre of Excellence, a 250-bed modern hospital in Abeokuta. This hospital aims to provide better healthcare services to Ogun State residents and nearby communities.

As part of her schedule, Mrs Tinubu will meet with important stakeholders at the June 12 Cultural Centre in Kuto, Abeokuta.

This visit is expected to strengthen the partnership between the Federal Government and Ogun State. It will focus on social welfare, housing, and healthcare, while showing both governments' commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians.
