Seven-Up Bottling Company Ltd. (SBC) has worked with the Apapa-Iganmu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) to open the renovated Sari-Iganmu Primary Health Centre. This project aimed to improve healthcare services and community health.

The health center now has a refurbished maternity ward, a new laboratory that is fully equipped, and solar energy systems. This makes the place safer and better for both health workers and patients.

The opening event featured Seven-Up Bottling Company Managing Director and CEO, Sari El-Khalil. Also present were HRM Oba Abdulfatai Oyeyinka Aremu Aromire II, the Ojora of Ijora and Iganmu Kingdom; Hon. Jimoh Olawale Saliu, Executive Chairman of Apapa-Iganmu LCDA; and Hon. Lawal Aina Musbau, Chairman of the House Committee on Health. Other government officials, community leaders, healthcare workers, and stakeholders also attended.

Apapa-Iganmu is important in the history of Seven-Up Bottling Company. The company produced its first bottle of 7UP in this community back in 1960.

More than sixty years later, Seven-Up Bottling Company still invests in the community that has been part of its journey since the start.

This project supports Sustainable Development Goal 3, which is about good health and well-being. It shows SBC’s ongoing commitment to healthcare, community growth, and making a meaningful impact.
