Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, on Monday took part in a big rally in Ebonyi State. He showed his support for President Bola Tinubu and called for stronger teamwork among political leaders.

Speaking to a large crowd in Abakaliki, Soludo called his visit a “solidarity visit.” He pointed out that progressive forces across the country are getting closer.

This information came from a statement released on Monday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime.

Soludo stood with his host, Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru. He called Nwifuru “my own brother” and promised to work together for better governance and national unity.

“I am here on a solidarity march with my own brother, the Rt. Hon. Governor of Ebonyi State, who, by the grace of God, is governor until 2031.

“I am here in solidarity with you because today, you are endorsing the President and Commander-in-Chief of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

“I have come in solidarity because progressives are working together. It is time for progressives to unite,” he said.

Soludo also talked about the challenges facing the nation. He expressed hope that the Federal Government will do something about economic and social issues.

He mentioned that his party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, will soon take a clear position to help build a stronger progressive coalition in the country.

In his message to the people of Igbo descent, Soludo urged them to change their political approach. He said it is time to stop politics based on complaints and start working together.

“I say to ụmụnne m ndị Igbo, enough of the politics of lamentations. We must now move from the alliance of protest to the alliance for progress, an alliance and partnership for prosperity for Ndigbo. We must now unite as Ndigbo; we must not waste our votes again,” he said.

The rally closed with renewed promises to back the President’s goals for national development and political teamwork across different parties.
