Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, and Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, are Nigeria’s highest-rated players in EA Sports FC 27. They both got an overall rating of 85 in the game’s official list, according to PUNCH Sports Extra.
The ratings show that ten Nigerian players have ratings of 78 or higher. This highlights a good mix of attacking talent, midfield skill, defensive strength, and goalkeeping experience in both men’s and women’s national teams.
Nnadozie has built a strong name for herself in European football. She is seen as one of Africa’s top goalkeepers. She shares the top rating with Osimhen. Osimhen has played in France, Germany, Italy, and Turkey. He won a Serie A title and the 2022/2023 Serie A Golden Boot with Napoli. This makes him one of Africa’s most dangerous forwards.
Ademola Lookman is rated 83 overall. He made headlines with a hat-trick for Atalanta in the 2024 Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen. This made him the first player to score three goals in a Europa League final. He is among the top-rated players, just after Nnadozie and Osimhen. Other top players include Super Falcons stars Rasheedat Ajibade, Jennifer Echegini, Gift Monday, and Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi.
Ajibade, rated 81 overall, has made a name as an attacking midfielder in Europe. She leads this group of players. Iwobi, Echegini, and Monday all have a rating of 80.
Other Nigerian players recognized in the ratings are Ola Aina, who is rated 79 overall, and Calvin Bassey, Raphael Onyedika, Samuel Chukwueze, and Nathan Tella, all rated 78 overall.
