South Africa, Benni McCarthy
Benni McCarthy became South Africa’s youngest World Cup scorer at the 1998 tournament in France. He scored an equaliser in a 1-1 draw against Denmark at 20 years and 218 days old. He is also the only South African to score in two different World Cups, adding another goal against Spain in 2002.
Togo, Mohamed Kader
Togo has one World Cup goal in history, scored by Mohamed Kader. He scored against South Korea at the 2006 World Cup in Germany. This remains the only goal for Togo in the tournament, making him both the youngest and oldest Togo scorer at 27 years old.
Tunisia, Dylan Bronn
Dylan Bronn is Tunisia’s youngest World Cup scorer. He scored at 23 years and four days old against Belgium during the 2018 World Cup in Russia. This goal was memorable for the Carthage Eagles, as Belgium reached the semi-finals.
