Zamfara Governor Moves Three Commissioners in Cabinet Change

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has made a small change to his cabinet. He has approved the redeployment of three commissioners. This is part of his plan to improve governance and service delivery in the State.

The Secretary to the Zamfara State Government, Abubakar Mohammad Nakwada, shared the news. He said the changes will help key Ministries work better and carry out the Administration’s Rescue Agenda effectively.

The three commissioners affected are:

1. Hon Abdulrahaman Tumbido, who moves from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources;

1. Hon Kasimu Yahya Kaura, who is going from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development; and

1. Hon Tasiu Musa Shinkafi, who shifts from the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Nakwada said the changes take effect immediately. Governor Lawal has told the commissioners to ensure a smooth transition. They should finish all necessary handover processes within a week.

The governor also asked them to bring new energy, commitment, and fresh ideas to their new roles. He wants them to stay focused on delivering real benefits to the people of Zamfara State, in line with the goals of the Rescue Agenda.
