Accident on Lagos Road Involves Two Trucks and a Car

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has reported a serious accident. It involved two big trucks and a private car at TREM heading towards Gbagada on the expressway.

On Monday, the agency shared a traffic update on its official X account. They said emergency responders were sent to the accident scene and were already working on recovery operations.

"A multiple-vehicle collision involving two articulated trucks loaded with cargo and one private car has occurred at TREM inward Gbagada along the Expressway," LASTMA stated.

They also mentioned, "A tow truck has been mobilized to the location, and recovery operations are currently in progress."

LASTMA explained that their Rescue and Recovery Unit was on the way. They want to ensure that the affected vehicles are removed quickly and to manage traffic around the accident area.

"Additionally, the LASTMA Rescue and Recovery Unit has been deployed to the scene to facilitate prompt vehicle extrication and enforce effective traffic management," the agency said.

Motorists need to be careful and prepare for delays in the area as emergency teams continue their work.
