Veteran Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has shared a video from her daughter Meriah's engagement, causing a lot of excitement on social media.
On Saturday, she posted on her Instagram page #realomosexy, saying, "Have you heard? My twinnie is engaged! I guess we have a wedding to plan! Congratulations to the lovebirds," along with the video from the event.
Meriah, who is also known as Meraiah or Mimi, is 26 years old and works as an apparel product developer. She announced her engagement two days earlier with the caption “New chapter.”
Meriah is one of four children of Omotola and her husband Captain Matthew Ekeinde, who is a pilot. The couple got married in 1996 and celebrated 30 years of marriage earlier this year. They also have children named Princess, Matthew (often called MJ or Captain E), and Michael.
