All On, a company that invests in renewable energy in Nigeria, has announced a $1 million investment in Eja-Ice Nigeria Limited. Eja-Ice provides solar-powered refrigeration and cold chain services.

This investment will help Eja-Ice grow its manufacturing and operations. It will allow the company to expand its cold-chain solutions. This will improve access to reliable cooling services for homes, small businesses, and institutions in areas with little or no electricity.

Many parts of Nigeria struggle with dependable cold storage. This is especially true in coastal and rural areas. Limited energy infrastructure leads to losses for small farmers and affects their income.

Eja-Ice provides energy-efficient refrigeration systems to tackle these issues. This helps preserve perishable goods and boosts local economies.

Caroline Eboumbou, CEO of All On, spoke about the investment. She said, "All On’s investment in Eja-Ice reflects our approach of supporting solutions that improve energy access while enhancing livelihoods, reducing costs, and enabling businesses to grow. Strengthening cold-chain infrastructure is an important step towards building more resilient local economies and expanding opportunities in underserved markets."

Eja-Ice uses an integrated cold-chain model. This gives them better control over how they design products, run operations, and deliver services. Their solutions meet the needs of communities with limited access to electricity. The company already supports micro enterprises and cooperatives, especially in areas with unreliable power.

Yusuf Bilesanmi, Founder and CEO of Eja-Ice Nigeria Limited, shared his thoughts. He said, "This capital raise is a huge step forward in our vision to power homes and businesses with products designed, assembled, and optimized right here on the continent. It’s not just about access to electricity, it’s about dignity, productivity, and opportunity for the over 600 million people across sub-Saharan Africa who are still off-grid."

With this investment, All On continues its mission to close Nigeria’s energy access gap. They support renewable energy businesses that offer market-driven and sustainable solutions.
