Nigerian hypeman and entertainer, Joseph Udeh, known as Big Smart, is looking to reach a larger global audience after his recent win at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards.
Big Smart, from Benue State, was recognized as the first winner of the Best Hypeman/MC award at the event.
He said this win is a big step in his entertainment career, which includes hosting live events, engaging with audiences, and managing music talents.
In a chat with PUNCH Online on Tuesday, Big Smart reflected on his journey. He expressed gratitude for his progress and his focus on achieving more.
"I honestly can’t fully express what the Lord is doing through me. From BSU to Dallas, Texas, and now to being recognized as Africa’s Number 1 MC, WOW! What a journey!"
He noted that this achievement is bigger than himself. He called it a testimony of grace, hard work, consistency, and believing in the talent God has given him.
Big Smart said this recognition has made him even more determined to expand his career to a global audience.
"I am deeply grateful to God for taking me this far and for everyone who has supported, believed in, and celebrated my journey."

Aside from being a hypeman and MC, Big Smart is the CEO of Finish Media. This entertainment company focuses on managing and promoting music talents.
