Nigerian Stars Win Big at AFRIMMA 2026 Awards

Nigerian music stars had a great night at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards. Davido, Tems, and Phyno were among the big winners.

The awards took place on 12 September 2026 in Dallas, Texas. The results were shared on Tuesday, celebrating artistes and entertainers from Africa and around the world in 41 categories.

Davido won Album of the Year for his album 5ive. Tems and Ruger won Best Female and Best Male West Africa respectively. Phyno took home Best Male Rap Act, while Mercy Chinwo won Best Gospel.
