Chimsom wins Head of House again, 14 housemates face eviction

Chimsom Chuka, a pharmacist and actor from Anambra, has been named Head of House for the second time in Big Brother Naija Season 11 "Show Ya Sef" edition.

Chimsom won the title on Monday night after he beat Gerard in the final head-to-head challenge. This win gives him immunity from eviction this week.

The show announced his win on its official social media accounts. They mentioned that Chimsom made it clear that "one HoH win was not enough" after taking the title for a second time this season.

Chimsom's latest win follows his first Head of House victory in the opening week of the competition.

Eviction Nominations

This week's nomination process has left many housemates at risk of eviction. Chimsom decided to use his veto power to save Sheba, who got the most votes during the nomination.

In the nomination faceoff, housemates had to publicly choose two contestants they wanted to save from eviction and explain why they chose them.

Sheba received the most save votes, and Chimsom used his Head of House power to ensure her safety.

As a result, Chimsom, Abi, and Sheba are safe from eviction this week. Chimsom is protected by his Head of House status, while Abi also has immunity after being named the Most Influential Player of the Week. This happened after Cassi was evicted on Sunday.

Sheba’s safety comes from Chimsom’s veto power. Aikou and Flora, introduced as the season’s Gambits, are also safe from eviction.

Voting and Eviction Process

This new twist means that the rest of the housemates are now up for eviction, leading to another round of audience voting and the live eviction show on Sunday.

Since Cassi was evicted on Sunday, August 23, 19 housemates remain in the "Show Ya Sef" house. Voting is open now via the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps, as well as the Africa Magic website. Voting ends on Thursday at 9pm WAT.

The winner of BBNaija Season 11 will take home a record ₦160m grand prize package. This includes ₦100m in cash, a brand-new SUV, and other prizes from the show’s sponsors.

This prize is the largest in the show's history and raises the stakes for all the housemates as the competition continues.
