Real Madrid's new star Yan Diomande has shown his deep respect for José Mourinho. He said he is ready to give everything for the Portuguese manager.
The Ivorian forward shared that players form a special connection with Mourinho when they play for him.
Fabrizio Romano reported on X on Friday that Diomande said, “When you play for José Mourinho, you want to DIE for him. I am ready to die for him.”
He also mentioned that he feels no pressure from the big money spent to bring him to Real Madrid.
Diomande stated that the transfer fee reflects the club's faith in his talent, not something to make him anxious.
“They spent a lot of money because they believe in me; why will I be scared?
“I’m not scared; I feel no pressure. I will do what I do, and God will do the rest,” he added.
Diomande's words show his confidence as he aims to prove the club's trust in him and make a name for himself at Real Madrid.
PUNCH Online reported that Madrid signed the Ivory Coast international from RB Leipzig for up to €140 million (£120 million). The promising teenager has signed a seven-year contract at the Santiago Bernabéu.
