DJ Dewik and Hypeman Best have become top stars in the 2026 edition of Soundcity On Tour. Their journey started when they were discovered at the first edition of the campus entertainment tour in 2023.
The tourβs executive producer, Adedeji Adeniji, first noticed them during their debut performance together at Soundcity On Tour three years ago. They had no prior partnership or much experience performing as a team, but their stage presence and ability to connect with the crowd impressed Adeniji.
After that performance, TASH Studios NG, a creative development company, signed them. The company helped them improve their craft. Over the next two years, they performed at major events nationwide, sharpening their skills as entertainers.
Now, their hard work has paid off. They are officially the DJ and hypeman for Soundcity On Tour 2026, which is a campus tour across Nigeria.
The tour will visit 20 tertiary institutions in total. It began with performances at Pan-Atlantic University and Olabisi Onabanjo University. At these schools, DJ Dewik and Hypeman Best energized the students and set a lively tone for the tour.
Organisers noted that their performances at both campuses showed how much they have improved since their first show on the tour in 2023. With 18 more campuses to go, DJ Dewik and Hypeman Best are set to keep the excitement going at the upcoming events.
