The 11 Premier League teams not playing in Europe this season have found out who they will face in the second round of the EFL Cup.

On Tuesday, the EPL website announced the draw. There are several all-Premier League matches. Chelsea will play against Luton Town. Tottenham Hotspur will meet Charlton Athletic. Southampton is set to host West Ham United.

In other matches, Newcastle United will welcome West Bromwich Albion. Nottingham Forest will face Leeds United. Sheffield Wednesday will take on Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Everton will visit Preston North End. Brentford will travel to Birmingham City. Fulham will host AFC Wimbledon.

The draw split the matches into northern and southern sections. The games are scheduled for the week starting August 24. This is between Premier League Matchweeks 1 and 2.

The EFL Cup has all 92 clubs from England’s top four leagues: the Premier League, Championship, League One, and League Two.

The nine Premier League clubs that are in UEFA competitions this season will join the EFL Cup in the third round. The second-round matches will be played over one leg. If a match is tied after 90 minutes, a penalty shootout will decide the winner.
