England’s World Cup match against Mexico on Sunday might start earlier. This is because of possible storms and flooding, according to a source involved with the plans.
FIFA, the body in charge of football worldwide, is talking about changing the kickoff time at the Estadio Azteca due to bad weather.
Right now, the match is set to begin at 6:00 PM local time.
Reports from Mexico say the match could be moved to midday local time.
In Mexico’s last game, which they won against Ecuador in the last 32 at the Azteca on Tuesday, heavy rain pushed the match back by one hour.
