Enugu State will host one of Africa's biggest meetings of gaming, tech, and investment experts. The Enugu Gaming Conference (EGC2026) will take place from 29 to 30 July 2026 at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Enugu.

Events Arcade Solutions Limited is organizing the conference in partnership with the Enugu State Gaming and Lotteries Commission (ESGC). The theme is “Code, Capital and Compliance: Unlocking Nigeria’s iGaming Tech Opportunity.” This event aims to boost Enugu’s image as a leading spot for tech, innovation, and private investment under Governor Peter Mbah’s leadership.

The conference will gather regulators, government officials, gaming operators, tech companies, fintech leaders, investors, legal experts, startup founders, researchers, and entrepreneurs from Nigeria and other African countries. They will discuss new opportunities that are shaping the future of the continent’s digital gaming scene.

Beyond talks on policies, EGC2026 is set to boost the economy in Enugu. Delegates will use hotels, transportation services, restaurants, and other businesses, creating new chances for investment, business growth, innovation, and job creation.

This two-day event will include keynote speeches, panel discussions, technical masterclasses, exhibitions, regulatory roundtables, startup pitch sessions, and high-level networking. The focus will be on topics like artificial intelligence, gaming tech, digital payments, cybersecurity, responsible gaming, regulatory tech, compliance, and digital entrepreneurship.

Key figures expected at the conference include the Honourable Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh; Founder of iGaming Afrika, Jeremiah Maangi from Kenya; Co-founder of Isoftnova Technologies Limited, Kelani Opeyemi Mercy; alongside other top regulators, compliance experts, gaming tech developers, fintech leaders, legal professionals, and industry heads from across Africa.

Ahead of the conference, Arinze Arum, the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Enugu State Gaming and Lotteries Commission, said EGC2026 is an important platform for pushing innovation, attracting investment, and boosting Nigeria’s digital economy.

He said the conference will spark meaningful discussions and partnerships that link policy with innovation, investment with business, and technology with responsible regulation. This supports the growth of Nigeria’s gaming and digital tech sectors.

He also mentioned that hosting this conference fits with Governor Peter Mbah’s goal to make Enugu a top choice for innovation, tech-driven businesses, and private investment. The state’s developing infrastructure and friendly business environment will help unlock new economic chances.

Registration is still open for gaming operators, tech companies, fintech firms, startups, investors, regulators, legal experts, students, researchers, and anyone interested in the future of gaming, tech, and digital innovation.
