Arsenal midfielder Ethan Nwaneri has moved on a season-long loan to Borussia Dortmund. Manchester City has also signed Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye as the Premier League transfer window shuts at 23:00 BST on Tuesday.
Nwaneri, 19, has joined Dortmund on a straight loan without a buy option. Dortmund will pay his full wages. The England Under-21 player spent the second half of last season on loan at Marseille. Arsenal and Nwaneri agreed that another loan would help him get regular first-team action. Dortmund acted fast after new signing Giannis Konstantelias got injured.
City confirmed Ndiaye's signing through an official post on Tuesday evening: "Welcome to City, Iliman." The Senegal international joined from Everton for £60 million, with an extra £5 million in add-ons.
Personal terms were finalized, and he passed his medical earlier that day. City turned to Ndiaye after their bid for Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo was turned down. Tottenham had also been in strong talks with the player earlier.
