The moment has arrived for a significant event in African mixed martial arts.

After the official weigh-ins, all eyes are on the Eko Convention Center in Lagos. PFL Africa is making its much-anticipated Nigerian debut this Saturday. The event features an impressive lineup of some of Africa's most exciting fighters.

With tournament spots and national pride at stake, the first PFL Africa event promises a thrilling night. Fighters from Nigeria and other countries will battle it out for glory.

The fights begin at 6:00 PM WAT (1:00 PM ET). All athletes successfully made weight ahead of their matches.

Adeshina Leads the Charge

At the top of the lineup is one of Nigeria’s most famous MMA fighters.

Wasi “The Nigerian Jaguar” Adeshina will fight Spain’s Ignacio “Nacho” Campos in the Featherweight Showcase main event. This match has all the makings of a fan favorite.

Ocheme Aims for Tournament Success

The co-main event focuses on the Lightweight Tournament. Nigeria’s Patrick “Star Boi” Ocheme will start his journey for tournament victory against Cameroon’s Octave “The Bantu Warrior” Ayinda.

Both fighters made weight, with Ocheme at 153.6 pounds and Ayinda at the lightweight limit of 156 pounds.

With a spot in the next round on the line, neither can afford to start slow. This match is expected to be among the most competitive of the night, featuring two fighters who have impressive records.
