Nollywood star Funke Akindele has revealed the exciting cast for her new movie, The Four. This film will hit cinemas worldwide on December 11, 2026.

The full title is The Four: No One Fights Alone. It features some of Nollywood's biggest stars along with popular music and entertainment figures.

The cast includes Akindele herself, Waje, Chioma Akpotha, Bisola Aiyeola, John Ekanem, Wunmi Toriola, Lateef Adedimeji, Ireoluwa Olaniyan, Ali Nuhu, Omotunde Adebowale David, known as Lolo1, Mide Iwasokun, Kolapo Omotosho, Shoday, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Uzor Arukwe, and Ogbolor.

Also part of the film are Ronke Oshodi Oke, Antar Laniyan, and entertainment figures Samuel Banks and Ayomide Iwasokun.

The Four is an emotional drama about friendship, motherhood, resilience, and the strength of ordinary women. The story is set between the beautiful Odu Community and a lively city.

It follows Esosa and three loyal women. Their determination to fight for a young man they love tests their courage, faith, and loyalty.

The film highlights hope, sacrifice, and unity. It also uses music, fashion, language, and tradition to show Nigeria’s cultural identity.

Akindele is the writer, director, and producer of the film. She said it will explore relationships and experiences that audiences can relate to.

In an interview with BellaNaija posted on Monday, she mentioned, "Audiences have grown with us over the years, and they expect stories that entertain while reflecting who we are."

She continued, "With The Four, we are exploring the relationships that shape us, challenge us, and stay with us. I think audiences will find a part of themselves in this story."

This movie adds another major project to Akindele’s career. She is known as one of Nigeria’s top filmmakers and a box-office powerhouse.

Akindele has directed and produced hit films like Omo Ghetto: The Saga, Battle on Buka Street, A Tribe Called Judah, Everybody Loves Jenifa, and Behind The Scenes.

Her films have set box-office records in Nigeria, making her one of Africa’s most influential filmmakers.

The Four: No One Fights Alone will be released in cinemas around the world on December 11, 2026. FilmOne is in charge of its theatrical distribution.
