Galatasaray reject Al-Hilal's huge offer for Osimhen

Galatasaray has turned down a reported £111m bid from Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal for Victor Osimhen. They insist the Nigerian striker will not be sold, even with strong interest from Arsenal, according to PUNCH Sports Extra.

Al-Hilal is said to have made this big offer for the 27-year-old after marking him as a key target. But Galatasaray rejected the bid and confirmed that Osimhen is not for sale.

Arsenal has also shown interest in the former Napoli striker. The Premier League club is reportedly talking to Galatasaray about his availability.

These talks have focused on Arsenal players Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri, and Osimhen's name has also come up in the discussions.

It is not yet clear if Arsenal or Galatasaray suggested the idea of signing Osimhen. It is also uncertain if any deal for the striker would happen alongside talks involving Martinelli and Nwaneri.

There is speculation that the three players could be part of a deal, but no agreement has been reached yet. The true nature of the discussions is still unclear.

Despite the interest from multiple clubs, Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek has made the club's goal clear: they want to keep Osimhen.

In a chat with 343 Digital, Özbek stated that Galatasaray will not accept any proposal that could harm the club. He specifically addressed Osimhen's situation.

“I will not say ‘yes’ to any deal that would harm Galatasaray or not benefit Galatasaray. What I said about Barış Alper Yılmaz, I am now saying even more strongly about Osimhen. No matter how much the price is, I am not selling Osimhen,” he said, as reported by Habersarikirmizi.

Özbek’s words make it clear that Galatasaray has no plans to let Osimhen leave this transfer window, no matter how big the offer.

The Nigeria international joined Galatasaray permanently after a successful loan. He has become one of the club’s top players.

For now, the Turkish champions have made their position clear. Al-Hilal’s £111m offer and Arsenal’s interest have not changed their mind about Osimhen.
