Nigerian comedian Gbenga Adeyinka will finish his 2026 Laffmattazz comedy tour in Lagos on 15 November. The tour has included shows in Nigeria, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
The grand finale, called Lagos Gets the Last Laugh, will be at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event starts at 3 p.m.
A statement from the organisers, Laughter Incorporated Ventures, says the show will feature comedy, music, culture, and fashion. It will also mark the end of the tour’s 15th anniversary year and celebrate over 30 years of Mr Adeyinka’s work in entertainment.
The theme for the event is The Next Chapter: A New Season of Laughter.
For Mr Adeyinka, also known as Gbenga Adeyinka 1st, the Lagos show is a return to a city that helped his career. The organisers noted that Lagos provided stages where he performed and audiences who supported him more than 30 years ago.
Tour across cities
The 2026 tour has included shows in Ibadan, Akure, Calgary, London, Ontario, Toronto, and Abeokuta. The Lagos event will be the last show of the tour.
FirstBank is the main sponsor and official tour partner. The organisers thanked the bank for its support during the tour in Nigeria and Canada.
They are also looking for more sponsors and brand partners for the Lagos event. The statement says brands can support the show through promotions, audience activities, and hospitality services.
The organisers mentioned that the event would give brands a chance to connect with people through comedy and other cultural activities.
More details about the performers and tickets will be shared through the tour’s official channels.
