Haaland got to 300 club goals with his 165th goal for Manchester City. Before this, he scored 20 for Molde, 29 for Red Bull Salzburg, and 86 for Borussia Dortmund.
His latest goal came in the 26th minute at the Etihad Stadium. He headed in a cross from Antoine Semenyo, who was assisted by Enzo Fernandez on his debut for Manchester City. This goal was crucial as City secured their third league win of the season.
For Haaland, this is another big achievement in a career that is moving very fast.
The 26-year-old has now scored 300 goals in senior club football. His 165 goals for City have come in just 202 matches. City has celebrated many of his previous milestones as his goal-scoring record keeps getting better.
In September 2024, Haaland became the 19th player in Manchester City’s history to score 100 goals for the club. He reached this mark in only 105 games. At that time, City said he scored his 100th goal against Arsenal in a 2-2 Premier League draw.
He reached another major milestone in February 2025. His goal against Arsenal took his total to 250 goals in 313 games. Manchester City pointed out that he got to this number faster than some of the best strikers of the 21st century, like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Kylian Mbappe.
At that point, Haaland had 115 goals for City, 86 for Dortmund, 29 for Salzburg, and 20 for Molde. This latest milestone means he has scored another 50 club goals since reaching 250, keeping a scoring rate that places him among the top forwards of his time.
His record for City has been especially impressive. He scored 52 goals in his first season at the club in 2022/23, which included a record 36 in the Premier League. The following season, he added 38 goals in all competitions and then 34 in 2024/25. City said he finished the 2025/26 season with 38 goals in 52 matches.
Haaland’s 300th club goal marks another exciting chapter in a career that started with Bryne in Norway before moving to Molde, Salzburg, Dortmund, and now Manchester City. With 165 goals already in 202 City games, this latest achievement is probably not his last.
