Nollywood actor Kunle Afod has shared his thoughts on cheating and the use of sex toys in relationships. He pointed out what he sees as double standards between men and women.

Afod made these comments during an interview with Kasnasty Sugar. He also talked about his separation from his wife, Desola.

Before discussing the separation, Afod said sorry to women. He recognized that his words might upset some of them.

“Separation from my wife? This job is heavy to the extent that we sometimes don’t have time for our home. Did you want to hear? To all the women here, my apologies, please. I need to beg you guys first before I talk about my separation,” he said.

Afod went on to discuss infidelity. He argued that some women have a hard time accepting certain behaviors from their husbands, even when they do similar things.

He also questioned why some women who use sex toys would criticize their husbands for doing the same.

“It’s easy for a woman to convince her husband to buy her a dildo; she will tell you that she doesn’t want to cheat on you. She would buy up to three dildos,” he said.

He further claimed that using sex toys could also be seen as cheating. He asked why some women would not accept their husbands using similar products.

“Why is she not satisfied with just one dildo? That can also be referred to as adultery too. The same woman that has the confidence to use a dildo won’t take it lightly when she catches her husband using sex toys,” he added.

Talking about the struggles in his marriage, Afod said that the demands of his acting career sometimes left him with little time for his family.

Reports about trouble in the actor’s marriage came out in February 2026. This was after Desola allegedly moved her things out of their home.

However, when Saturday Beats reached out for comments on the situation, Afod said he did not want to discuss it.
