Galatasaray winger Rafael Leão has shared his thoughts on Barcelona's Lamine Yamal. He hopes the 19-year-old will win the Ballon d’Or and help Barcelona lift important trophies.
In a chat with Brazilian broadcaster TNT Sports BR on Tuesday, Leão said, “I hope Lamine Yamal wins the Ballon d’Or and big trophies with Barça. He is among the best in the world, he’s someone I really appreciate as a player and person. He’s surrounded by good players at an extraordinary club.”
Leão, who is now one of the best attackers in Serie A, expressed deep respect for the young Spaniard. He praised Yamal’s humility and called him a friend. He also talked about the great atmosphere around Yamal at Barcelona.
These comments come right after Barcelona played Galatasaray in the Champions League. Yamal shone again, showing why he is one of the most exciting young talents in European football.
At just 19, the Barcelona forward is already seen as one of the most valuable and talked-about players in the sport.
