The ongoing disagreement between singer Peter Okoye, known as Mr P, and his older brother Jude Okoye, who was also his manager, has taken a new turn. Peter released the fifth part of his video series, where he accused Jude of threatening his life, trying to take his property in Atlanta, and lying about their family issues.

Peter shared the latest video on Monday. He wrote, "PART 5. I never wanted to fight for public opinion. I only wanted the truth to exist. I have seen Jude’s video. My full response is coming soon. I won’t leave anything out. If he comes back with more lies, I’ll come back with more truth until the full story is told."

These new claims add to a family feud that has been public for the last week. Peter has been releasing videos explaining his side, while Jude responded with a long rebuttal. Both sides have accused each other of issues involving money, management, and betrayal.

Details of the Atlanta Property Dispute
Peter and Paul Okoye, who were part of the P-Square group, and their brother Jude are at the center of this. In the latest video, Peter shifted focus from their business dealings to a fight over a property they own together in Atlanta, USA.

He claimed that he and Paul agreed around 2014 to split their assets. Peter said he would keep the Atlanta house while Paul would get ₦30 million because the house was worth more. Peter said the trouble started when he learned from a realtor that the house was up for sale without his knowledge.

Peter alleged that when he confronted Jude backstage at a show, Jude tried to slap him, but other artists stopped him. "He told me to get out of his front before he slapped me. He wanted to beat me up before other artistes stepped in," he said.

Peter also claimed he was later given documents to transfer the property to Jude’s wife, Ifeoma, but he refused to sign. Peter further alleged that Jude threatened to shoot him. He said one of the threats was recorded. "Jude now said, ‘If you dey come my house, carry your coffin come. I go shoot you, bury you and nothing go happen… I was recording this video, my twin brother raised his hand and slapped me."

He dismissed Jude's claim that he built P-Square, saying their older brother, Henry Okoye, supported the group's early career.

How the Feud Started Again
The Okoye brothers have had many public fights over the years. This latest round began after Peter faced backlash for comments about Nigerian languages. While in Paris, he said his children spoke French. When someone asked if they spoke Igbo, Peter replied, "And who Naija language help?"

This comment caused anger on social media. Peter apologized and said he did not mean to attack Igbo or Nigerian culture. Shortly after, he accused his twin brother, Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy, of using the situation to mock him, which led to the video series.

Peter Claims Reunion Was Fake
Peter released the first part of his series on July 30. He shocked fans by saying that P-Square's reunion in 2021 was not real. He said he wanted to reconcile as brothers and not bring back the music group. Peter claimed Paul pushed for the reunion even though he had doubts.

“That reunion was a fake reunion. I never wanted P-Square back. All I wanted was for the brothers to come back as family,” Peter said.

Parts 2 to 4: Financial Issues
Peter's next three videos focused on financial problems. He said he found out he was no longer a signatory to some company accounts after the reunion. He claimed that more than $1.2 million in music royalties had been taken through Northside Music Limited without his permission.

Peter insisted that his petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission was aimed at Northside Music, not at Paul. He said he was just looking for accountability.

Jude Responds
After staying quiet for the first four videos, Jude released his own video called “Debunking the Lies.” He denied Peter’s claims and said many of the issues were already in court. Jude said Peter's claims were false and insisted that he still had access to the company accounts.

He accused Peter of avoiding court dates even though he started the legal battle. “Peter, you know the court is not going to your favour. This issue have been trashed by EFCC. Why are you dodging to make appearance in court? For three good sittings now, you dey dodge court. They’ve frozen my account for over two years. For over two years, I can’t travel, you’re trying to blackmail me,” Jude said.

He added that his passport and bank accounts have been frozen for more than two years due to the ongoing case.

Ifeoma Okoye Speaks Out
After Peter’s claims about the Atlanta property, Jude’s wife, Ifeoma Okoye, also responded. Without mentioning Peter directly, she said she would not get into public arguments or try to convince people who misunderstand her.

She said she trusts God to reveal the truth and would not respond further. “I have no desire to defend myself before those who are committed to misunderstanding me. Truth does not need manipulation to prevail, and I trust God to vindicate what is right,” she wrote.

Ongoing Family Dispute
This latest dispute is just another part of the long breakdown of one of Africa’s most famous music groups. P-Square split in 2017 after years of disagreements over management, money, and creativity.

Even though the brothers reunited in 2021, their peace did not last long. New disputes over royalties, business, and trust have come up. The current exchanges have brought those disagreements back into the public eye, with Peter's EFCC petition still going through the courts.

There seems to be no end in sight. Peter has promised to respond to Jude’s rebuttal and has warned that he will keep sharing evidence if more lies come out. The Okoye family's public feud looks set to go on.
