A new digital platform called FutbolConect has launched. It aims to connect everyone in the African football world. The founders promise to provide more football chances across the continent.
FutbolConect is meant for players looking for trials, coaches seeking jobs, scouts hunting for talent, and clubs wanting to find new players. It offers a central place for networking, discovering talent, and recruiting.
Dr Arinze Madueke, the founder, explained that FutbolConect was made to link football talent with opportunities using technology.
“We created FutbolConect to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity by using technology to make football more connected, accessible and inclusive for everyone involved in the game,” Madueke said.
He mentioned that this platform would support current football development systems. It will help players, coaches, scouts, and clubs find talent, form partnerships, and grow their professional connections.
The initiative will also focus on grassroots football, women’s football, youth development, and coaching education. This is part of a plan to boost football development across Africa.
FutbolConect provides services like player profiling, club visibility, talent scouting, recruitment, tournament promotion, and football networking. The developers call it a digital hub aimed at helping the game grow across the continent.
