Three Super Eagles players will face each other in the English Premier League today. Two others will meet in Turkey, according to PUNCH Sports Extra.

At Craven Cottage, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey will play for Fulham against Hull City, where Semi Ajayi will lead the defence.

Fulham is at the bottom of the table, with only two points from six matches. Iwobi has made 13 chances this season, more than any other player on his team. But he has not scored or assisted yet. Bassey has been a regular starter at left-back and has taken on the captain's role under new manager Álvaro Arbeloa.

Hull is sitting in eighth place with nine points from six matches. Their record includes a win over Manchester United on the first day and a draw against Chelsea. Ajayi has scored once this season and has played very well in defence. Before the season started, bookmakers thought Hull would be the most likely team to get relegated, but they have surprised everyone.

The pressure is on Fulham manager Arbeloa. He has only managed to get two points from 18 since taking over from Marco Silva in July 2026. Fulham lost 2-1 against Ipswich Town on October 10. Reports say he may have only two games left, starting with this one, to change things around. All three Nigerian players are available to play.

In Turkey, Chidozie Awaziem’s Konyaspor will visit Amedspor in the Super Lig. There, he will face Gift Orban.

The 24-year-old Orban is currently among the top scorers in the league, with seven goals in seven games. He has also provided two assists. He joined Amedspor on loan from Hoffenheim in July 2026. Reports say the club must pay €3m to keep him if he scores 10 goals.

Awaziem, who is 29, plays as a centre-back for Konyaspor, who are in 15th place in the league.

Amedspor is third with 14 points from seven games. They are unbeaten in their last five league matches, with three wins and two draws.
