Oakleaf Supports Lagos State Games

Oakleaf has shown its dedication to healthy living by teaming up with the Lagos State Public Service Club for its annual games. Members took part in various indoor and outdoor sports competitions.

The games took place at the club's facilities in Lagos, including locations in Ikorodu, Epe, and Badagry. Participants competed for prizes and bragging rights in events like table tennis, lawn tennis, squash, scrabble, table soccer, ludo, and draught.

Aside from supporting the competition, Oakleaf also offered healthcare services and wellness products to participants. This highlights the need for preventive healthcare and active living.

Oluseyi Adelaja, Oakleaf’s Head of Marketing, spoke about the partnership. He said the company's support for sports matches its goal of helping people live better lives through healthy habits.

“We usually partner with different clubs especially when it comes to sports and people being active because it fits into our objective of improving quality of life,” Adelaja said.

He encouraged participants to adopt healthier lifestyles through good nutrition, regular exercise, and preventive healthcare.

“It starts with things you can control. The first is your diet which cuts across how you even prepare your meals and when you eat. Ensure you incorporate vegetables and fruits.

“Another thing is exercise. We tend to sit behind the desk for most part so we have to incorporate some form of exercise in our routine.

“We also preach the incorporation of supplements that help to boost immunity and manage stress,” he added.

The club’s Sports Secretary, Adewale Adebayo, praised Oakleaf for enhancing the event with its healthcare support.

“Oakleaf has added glamour to the event with their presence and resources. Our members had access to adequate healthcare through their products while playing and that is a perfect blend,” Adebayo said.

He also mentioned that anyone can join the Lagos State Public Service Club, not just civil servants.
