Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, known as Odumodublvck, has said that any man who claims he won't die for his woman is a "fool." He believes men should love their wives in a selfless way.

Odumodublvck made this statement on the In Motion Podcast on YouTube, shared on Friday. He also talked about his ongoing feud with fellow rapper Blaqbonez.

While discussing relationships, Odumodublvck said, "Any man wey talk say he no fit die for him woman na fool!"

He shared his thoughts from a Christian viewpoint, saying, "Because me now, I’m a Christian. See, this is my power. And Jesus said, Christ said we should love our wife like Christ loved the church. And what did Christ do for the church? He died for the church."

Odumodublvck mentioned he expects to die before his wife because she is younger than him.

"I’m probably going to die before my wife, in Jesus’ name. Amen… Why should my wife die before me? When she’s younger than me? Doesn’t make any sense. I should die before my wife," he said.

He added that he believes his wife would then take care of their children and continue his work.

"And when I die, it’s my wife that will now take everything and distribute to my children so there will not be wahala. So it’s my wife that will continue whatever it is that I started," he said.

Odumodublvck linked his views on women to his upbringing, stating that his mother’s kindness shaped how he handles money.

"Like me now, my mom is a cheerful giver. If you give me one million Naira now, before you know it, I’ve sent it to ten people. I don’t know how to hold money. So my girlfriend will be holding my money for me," he said.

He compared the value of women to the queen in chess.

"So if you don’t understand the concept of loving a woman and putting a woman where a woman is meant to be. Like if you look at chess, the strongest piece on the board is the queen," he said.

"If the queen goes, just forget that game. Forget the game. The king is exposed," he added.

Odumodublvck also spoke about being seen as a misogynist, calling it an unfair label.

"They think I’m a misogynist," he said.

When asked if this bothered him, he replied, "It bothers me a lot. A whole lot. Because it’s such an unfair thing to say."

He then questioned whether a man willing to die for his partner could really be called a misogynist.

"Okay, now I want to die for my girlfriend. Will a misogynist die for his woman?" he asked.
