Bayern Munich forward Michael Olise has told his France teammates that he wants to leave Bayern and move to Real Madrid next season.

On Thursday, French newspaper L’Équipe reported that the 24-year-old shared his wish during the FIFA World Cup. Real Madrid knows about his interest and is expected to start discussions after the tournament, even though Bayern is not keen on selling.

Olise has a contract with Bayern that runs until 2029. He is eager to take the next step in his career by joining Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.

France and Bayern defender Dayot Upamecano has tried to convince Olise to stay in Munich. But Bayern's president Herbert Hainer recently brushed aside rumors about Olise moving to Spain.

“Florentino Pérez can save himself the trouble of making an offer for Olise; we do not want to sell,” Hainer said.

Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace and has quickly become one of the club's important attacking players.

The report also mentioned that if Olise joins Real Madrid, it might lead to one of the club's current stars leaving. Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior are reportedly among those whose futures at the club might be questioned.

L’Équipe noted that the rumored tension between Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé, along with Vinicius' ongoing contract talks, has sparked speculation about possible exits. However, neither claim has been confirmed by the clubs.

Real Madrid has not yet made any public comments about the interest in Olise.
