A member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Mr Biola Oladapo, is asking his constituents to support President Bola Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 general election.

Oladapo represents Ondo West Constituency 2 in the Assembly. He is the All Progressives Congress candidate for the upcoming House of Assembly election in his constituency. He said he has started grassroots efforts to rally support for the President’s re-election.

This information came from a statement released on Sunday by his media aide, Kabiru Okunoye. He stated that Ondo State aims to give over 1 million votes to the President, so support is important.

He said, “Our people need to support the re-election of the President to continue and complete various developmental projects that the Tinubu administration has started across the country. We have already begun grassroots mobilisation for the President in our constituency.

“Mr President has worked hard for our state and the country in terms of economy, infrastructure, and youth empowerment, among others. The President is also making serious efforts to tackle the challenges facing the country. So I’m calling on our people to support his re-election.”

Oladapo is also asking for support for his second term in the House of Assembly in 2027. He revealed that in three years, over 300 constituents had received millions of naira and tools to start their own businesses. The beneficiaries include youths, farmers, women, and widows.

He mentioned that he has delivered 20 major projects covering education, empowerment, infrastructure, and social welfare. His three-year scorecard has brought real relief and hope to his constituents through projects that focus on people.

The statement added, “In education alone, Hon. Oladapo has paid college tuition for talented but needy students, organised free summer coaching, distributed back-to-school materials under his ‘Back to School 3.0’ initiative, and helped eligible candidates gain admission into higher institutions.

“His commitment to conversation is also important. Through regular town hall meetings and community engagement, he has built peace and trust, giving constituents a direct voice in governance over the last three years. Over 200 residents benefited from our recent large empowerment programme, while more than 100 received cash support, food items, and help with health expenses during this time.”

The lawmaker has helped people get jobs in state agencies, worked to convert temporary appointments to full employment, and made sure pensioners' gratuities are processed quickly. Each effort focused on the daily needs of families in Ondo West Constituency 2.

The statement also noted that Oladapo provided transformers to some rural communities, improved rural roads, installed solar-powered street lights, and contributed to the security of several communities in his constituency.

“Three years on, Oladapo’s mix of direct help and legislative work has set a new standard for representation. Constituents say his focus on access, opportunity, and dignity shows that real results are possible when leadership is serious and accountable,” the statement concluded.
