One person was hurt after a crash between a Toyota Camry and a trailer on Lagos State University-Iba Road on Monday morning.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority shared the news on its X account. They said the accident happened around 7:45 am close to Pennafort Filling Station, heading towards First Gate.
LASTMA reported that brake failure caused the crash. The driver of the Toyota Camry was the one injured.
“Minor Accident at Lasu-Iba Road [7:45AM] #IbaRd #FirstGate,” the agency posted.
They added, “At Pennafort Filling Station inward First Gate along Lasu-Iba Road, a minor accident involving a Toyota Camry and a Trailer occurred due to brake failure, with one casualty recorded (the driver of the Toyota Camry).”
LASTMA mentioned that its officials and the Nigeria Police Force were at the scene to handle the situation.
“Our officials including the Men of Nigerian Police Force are on ground to do the needful,” the agency said.
