Peller and Jarvis Celebrate Their Traditional Wedding in Style

Popular content creators, Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, called Jarvis, officially tied the knot on Saturday in a lively traditional wedding ceremony in Lekki, Lagos State.

The couple had been eagerly looking forward to this day. They exchanged traditional marriage rites surrounded by family, friends, and many celebrities.

They shared photos from the event on Instagram, showcasing their beautiful traditional Benin attire. They also reflected on starting their married life together.

“Today, we become one. Two tribes, one love. Two families, one forever. A new chapter begins, and forever starts now,” they posted together.

On the night before their wedding, the couple shared their last pre-wedding photos. They told fans they had stopped counting down because they were “starting forever.”

Before the wedding, Peller went live to share his honeymoon plans. He said he wants to visit eight different countries after the wedding.

This wedding comes after months of celebrations leading up to their big day. In June, Peller proposed to Jarvis during a sweet beachside event at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Ghana. Jarvis accepted the proposal, creating an emotional moment that quickly became popular on social media.

A week later, Peller paid Jarvis’ bride price during a traditional introduction ceremony in her hometown of Benin City. He called this occasion the start of their beautiful journey together.

The couple later announced their wedding date would be August 1, 2026.

They also gave fans a look at behind-the-scenes moments from their wedding-themed video shoot, including a fun clip of them pretending to argue while the crew laughed.

Earlier in the week, on July 29, they made their union official at a court wedding attended by family, friends, and media personality Daddy Freeze.

During the civil ceremony, Peller made everyone laugh with his reaction to the marriage registrar’s warning that bigamy is a crime punishable by at least five years in prison without the option of a fine.

Peller had also shared that he attended private traditional pre-marriage counselling in Ikorodu. He wanted to learn how to take better care of Jarvis and be a responsible husband.
