Priscilla Ojo shows off son as he turns one

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo, has finally shared the face of her son, Rakeem Mkambala, as he marks his first birthday.

Priscilla, who is married to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, posted photos of their son on Instagram on Monday to celebrate his special day.

In her post, she called Rakeem her “greatest answered prayer” and shared her joy in seeing him grow over the past year.

“We blinked, and a whole year passed.

“To our dearest son,

“Watching you grow has been the biggest blessing. You are the most cheeky, happy, cleverest little pumpkin. You light up every room you walk into and we’re so proud to be your parents,” she wrote.

The influencer shared that the last year was filled with love, cuddles, and watching Rakeem’s personality develop.

“365 days of loving you, cuddling you, and watching your beautiful personality shine. You are curious, so joyful, so smart and so full of life. You make every day better just by being you,” she added.

Priscilla also expressed surprise at how quickly her son is growing, calling him their “little sunshine.”

“We can’t believe how fast you’re growing, our little sunshine. May your life be filled with as much happiness as you have given us this past year,” she wrote.

She prayed for Rakeem to grow up healthy, happy, and with a purpose, asking God to guide his steps.

“We pray you grow up healthy, happy and full of purpose.

“We pray God guides your steps and orders your path.

“We pray you know how deeply you are loved, every single day,” she added.

Priscilla also wished that her son would keep his joyful spirit and maintain a pure heart.

“We pray your laughter never stops and your beautiful heart stays pure.

“You are our greatest answered prayer.

“Happy 1st Birthday our sunshine, we love you endlessly,” she wrote.

Rakeem was born on August 24, 2025, in Canada, as the first child of Priscilla and Juma Jux.

The couple announced their pregnancy in July 2025 and celebrated their son’s birth with family, friends, and fans.

After Rakeem's birth, he drew a lot of attention online, with an Instagram account made for him reportedly gaining over 50,000 followers within an hour of starting.

Despite the public interest, Priscilla had chosen to keep her son’s face private at first, saying she would show him when the time was right.

The family later came together in Tanzania, where Jux welcomed his wife and son after they returned from Canada.

Revealing Rakeem’s face on his first birthday is a change from Priscilla’s earlier choice to keep him away from the spotlight.
