Real Madrid are making big moves to sign RB Leipzig’s talented young winger, Yan Diomande. They have reportedly agreed on personal terms with the 19-year-old from Côte d'Ivoire.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared the news on X on Saturday. Diomande has given Real Madrid the go-ahead on the contract details.
This agreement is similar to the one he had with Paris Saint-Germain in June. It puts Real Madrid in a strong position to land one of Europe’s top young players.
Real Madrid made an initial bid of about €90 million, plus €10 million in bonuses, but RB Leipzig rejected it right away.
Not giving up, Real Madrid is getting ready to make a better offer to sign the speedy winger.
Diomande moved to Leipzig from Leganés just a year ago for around €20 million. He had a breakout season in the 2025, 26 Bundesliga.
He scored 12 goals and provided nine assists in 33 league games. His speed, dribbling skills, and attacking power on the wings stood out.
His great performances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup boosted his reputation even more. This has caught the eye of many top clubs in Europe.
