RFLD has kicked off its Organisational Resilience Programme (ORP). This initiative will give 500 registered nonprofit groups in Africa the RFLD Management Suite. This management system is worth US$5,000, but it will be free for the organizations that join.

The program aims to make nonprofits stronger by helping them set up the systems and controls that donors, development partners, and grant-making bodies want to see. Many organizations doing important work find it hard to get funding because they do not have good financial management, governance, safeguarding, and accountability systems in place.

With the Organisational Resilience Programme, RFLD wants to close this gap. They will provide nonprofits with a management solution that helps them work better, be more transparent, and stay sustainable in the long run.

John GBENAGNON, Development Director for Resource Mobilisation & Partnerships at RFLD, said that many strong organizations struggle to get funding. This is not because their work is bad, but because they do not have the systems in place to show accountability and readiness to donors.

“Too many strong organisations lose funding not because their work is weak, but because they cannot show donors the systems donors test: clean financial controls, audit trails, and protected safeguarding records,” John GBENAGNON said.

The RFLD Management Suite combines ten key operational areas into one platform. These areas include Finance & Grants, Programmes, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), Human Resources, Gender, Communications, Membership, Procurement, Safeguarding & Complaints, and Governance.

The system has donor-grade financial controls like maker-checker approvals, budget-versus-actual grant tracking, bank reconciliation, period locking, and numbered payment vouchers. It also has encrypted sections for sensitive safeguarding and gender-related information.

This platform is made for African organizations. It is fully bilingual, available in English and French. It works offline and does not need internet access or server infrastructure. Organizations will keep full ownership and control of their data. They will also get guided onboarding throughout August 2026 and twelve months of technical support.

The program is open to registered nonprofit organizations in Africa with yearly budgets from US$10,000 to US$1,000,000.

Applications will close on 31 July 2026. The first group of 500 organizations will start onboarding in August 2026.
