President Bola Tinubu has sent warm birthday wishes to David Oyedepo, the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, as he turned 72 on September 27.
President Tinubu joined the Oyedepo family, Living Faith Church Worldwide, the Christian community, and millions of Mr Oyedepo’s fans in celebrating his life dedicated to faith, service, leadership, and community development.
The president praised Mr Oyedepo’s important role in the moral and spiritual growth of individuals and communities. He highlighted the bishop’s strong focus on integrity, discipline, hard work, responsibility, and excellence.
He also mentioned the bishop’s long-term push for values that support families, institutions, and nations. Mr Oyedepo’s message of hope, purpose, and personal responsibility has touched people across Nigeria and beyond.
Contributions to Education
President Tinubu commended Mr Oyedepo for his impactful work in education and building human capital through schools like Covenant University and Landmark University. These institutions have created opportunities for academic success, leadership training, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

“Bishop David Oyedepo has spent decades preaching faith, promoting integrity, and encouraging excellence. He has also invested heavily in education and developing human potential. His work has made a significant impact both nationally and internationally.
“I particularly acknowledge Bishop Oyedepo for his social development projects, which include schools, healthcare centers, and humanitarian efforts. His ministry and the David Oyedepo Foundation support education and help those in need.
