Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, Ayodeji Balogun, known as Wizkid, will be the star performer on the first night of the 2026 Detty December Fest in Lagos.
The festival organizers, Livespot360, shared this news on their official Instagram page on Thursday.
The festival will take place from December 18 to 30. It will offer 13 days filled with music, culture, and creativity across two stages.
“The countdown to December begins. Wizkid headlines the opening night of Detty December Fest 2026,” the organizers stated.
Wizkid's grand opening concert is set for Friday, December 18, at 6 pm. It will be held at the Detty December Village in Lagos.
The organizers described this concert as the start of the Detty December season. They said, “This is one night the whole internet would claim it attended. Don’t just hear about it, be a part of it!”
Ticket prices for the opening concert were seen on the Detty December Fest website by our reporter. General Access tickets are priced at N50,000, while Golden Circle tickets cost N150,000.
VIP Standing tickets are available for N300,000, and tables can be booked upon request through the event's concierge.
The ticket details show that General Access allows entry into the festival. It includes access to music performances, food courts, and the marketplace.
The Golden Circle ticket offers the same access but places attendees in a section closer to the stage.
The VIP Standing ticket provides access to a special standing area near the bars, but does not include seating.
The organizers mentioned that the 13-day festival will be a hub for music, culture, and creativity during the December festive season. They also noted that partnership and hospitality opportunities are available.
