2026 World Cup: Key Matches and Dates Confirmed

The knockout stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup is starting to take shape as the group stage comes to an end. Some Round of 32 matches have been confirmed.

Big teams like Brazil, Germany, France, and Argentina have made it to the knockout rounds. The co-hosts, the United States and Mexico, will also play in front of their home fans.

But many matches still need to be decided. Some third-placed teams and a few group winners and runners-up are yet to be confirmed.

Monday, June 29

• 6:00 p.m., Brazil vs Japan (Houston Stadium, Houston)

Tuesday, June 30

• 2:00 a.m., Netherlands vs Morocco (Monterrey Stadium, Monterrey)
• 6:00 p.m., Côte d’Ivoire vs Norway (Dallas Stadium, Dallas)

Thursday, July 2

• 1:00 a.m., USA vs Bosnia and Herzegovina (San Francisco Bay Area Stadium)

After the Round of 32, the tournament will move to the Round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, the third-place match, and the final. The final is set for Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the New York/New Jersey Stadium.
