Big Brother Naija Season 11 contestant, Abisola “Abi” Ayoola, has won the Head of House title for the second time. She achieved this after beating Gerard in the final round of the challenge on Monday.
This win makes Abi the first female housemate to take the Head of House title twice in the Show Ya Sef house.
The organisers shared the news on their website, saying Abi claimed the crown after several elimination rounds. This left her and Gerard as the last two competitors for the title.
“For Gerard, it was another close call as he once again came within touching distance of the HoH title. But in the final round, Abi held her nerve and secured the win,” the organisers mentioned.
Abi's new Head of House title brings changes to her privileges. Unlike before, there was no Lucky Dip to access the HoH Loft. Now, the Loft is directly hers, making her the first HoH this season to enjoy this benefit.
Abi picked Temi Nkem to join her in the Loft.
The organisers also said that this week’s HoH winner will be able to participate in next week’s challenge. This is different from past weeks where the outgoing Head of House could not compete again right away.
After the HoH challenge, Big Brother announced changes to how nominations will work. The usual saves were cancelled after housemates discussed nominations, conspiracies, and potential saves.
Now, only Abi, as Head of House, and Sheba, the Most Influential Player of the Week, are safe from eviction. The other housemates are all up for possible eviction.
In another twist, Bells has become the Benchwarmer again. Big Brother called Yusuf, Bells, Ricky, Aikou, Nomy, and Sheba to roll a die.
Bells rolled one, the lowest number. Yusuf and Sheba rolled two, Nomy rolled four, and Ricky and Aikou both rolled six.
This news comes as the housemates enter the sixth week of the reality show.
